Recorded at Beethoven Studio, Guerilla Studio, Phoenix Studio.
Mixed at Guerilla Studio & mastered at Tape One Studios, London, England.
Title of A2: given on label as "Closseau"
Text from back cover:
The album you are about to hear, is a 180 degree departure from the norm which is being pumped out by the world's record companies. It was written and recorded under a new brief that runs counter to the standard formula. That brief is this: Forget about having to come up with a single (Three minutes of music aimed at 16-year-olds), don't worry about your "image" (no need to invent a new hairdo), don't be concerned with lyrics (you won't be singing). Just play your instruments unencumbered by restraints.
For this project Martin Turner and Ted Turner, the bands original bass and lead guitar rejoin Steve Upton on drums and Andy Powell on lead guitar. The great dual lead guitars of Wishbone Ash together again but as never before. The original lineup - powerful, tasteful, mature, yet as fresh as the day they formed. This is an instrumental album of oustanding musicianship, firmly rooted in the rock idiom. When I commissioned this album, I knew it would be great. I had no idea it would be this great. I am proud to have this album on my label and once again to be associated with the first group I ever managed.
