Notes
Unlike later editions which have a semi glossy finish, this 1st German press is printed on matte card stock resulting in a matte finish. No shine, no gloss coating.
A 1979 repress is identical except for the following: embossed black circle underneath the cat# in the top right corner on the reverse cover, and 22/79 K printed on the inner sleeve.

Cat# 1 C 062-96 004 in white on a black rectangle in the upper right corner.
All vocals are sung by David Coverdale and Glenn Hughes except "Holy Man" which is sung by Glenn Hughes and "Soldier Of Fortune" which is sung by David Coverdale.
All compositions published by Deep Purple Music Ltd.
The album was recorded at Musicland, Munich, Germany during August, 1974 with the assistance of Mack and Hans and was mixed at Record Plant during September, 1974 where the engineers were Gary Webb and Gary Ladinsky.
